Job Title: Senior Software Developer – Multiple Positions (5)

 

Duties:

·      Analyze and validate business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders;

·      Assess system and application impacts of proposed enhancements and architectural changes; Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs; Prepare and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation aligned with architectural standards;

·      Design and implement RESTful web services and cloud-based applications using industry-standard cloud platforms;

·      Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices to meet security standards;

·      Develop responsive user interface components using modern JavaScript frameworks;

·      Design, develop, and optimize database components including SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions;

·      Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure application reliability and performance;

·       Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices;

·      Analyze defects, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions; Participate in Agile development processes;

·      Document technical design, implement guides, and operational procedures;

·      Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability;

·      Perform additional duties as assigned.



M-F; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; 40 hrs/week; $152,131/year.

 

Requires: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,

Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate hands on experience in the JO OR as a Dev. Analyst, Senior Engineer – Product Development, Software Developer-Applications, Senior Technical Specialist, or similar position. The same 5 years of Experience must include working with the below listed technologies and tools: C# dot net, asp.net, SQL server, WCF Services, Bootstrap, Vb.net, SAP, Winshuttle, JIRA, Git, Azure Logic Apps.

Other: Relocation and travel to client sites at various unanticipated client locations throughout the US is possible. Relocation cost is not paid

Job Description

We are looking for a Backend / Distributed Systems Engineer with experience in Temporal to design, build, and manage scalable, fault-tolerant workflows across microservices.


You will work on workflow orchestration, reliable execution, and long-running business processes using Temporal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement workflow orchestration systems using Temporal 
  • Build and maintain Workflows & Activities for business processes 
  • Develop fault-tolerant distributed systems with retry, state persistence, and recovery 
  • Integrate workflows with:
    • APIs 
    • Databases 
    • External services 
  • Monitor and optimize workflow execution and performance 
  • Implement Saga patterns / distributed transactions

Required Qualifications
